@oseiler@mastodon.nz Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that's not really an arrested idiom in Latin, Merdaque is what you'd say and the abbreviation would look like merdaq I think these real examples of funny Latin phrases may be more interesting to you. The first highlighted "ut merdas edatis" = "In other words, you can eat shit" "non miror, merdas si libet esse cani" I'm not impressed. Shit, if they want it, they can eat the dog's"
