@0x4d6165@transfem.social ORM heavily preferred, raw SQL otherwise. ORMs make the db stuff mesh nicely with everything else, and lets my brain stay in the same "mode" while writing code, instead of having to switch back and forth, if that makes sense. Sometimes for quick and dirty stuff or complex queries there's no beating raw SQL. I don't really get much out of query builders tbh.
