@thilakan@mathstodon.xyz @tao@mathstodon.xyz yes - there are many open source projects being flooded with "pull requests" - suggested changes that need to be read, checked & approved as a "real improvement" or worthwhile, bug free, change. Many of these projects have stopped accepting PRs as their maintainers cannot keep up/do not have the time. It also has echoes of science fiction magazines and publishers closing submissions for the same reason.
