@fabs@mastodon.gamedev.place because even at the time they were written, many languages could and had incorporated the design patterns into the language. They didn't need an external dogma.

@drj@typo.social yes, i thought the same way at the start of my research. Probably because they had incorporated the solutions mentioned in the GoF book, but oddly, they had not incorporated the patterns.
