even very basic, reversible, transformations (such as scaling, rotation, reflection) aren’t commutative!
(am still thinking this is so obvious, I must have misunderstood something…)

@UlrikeHahn@fediscience.org @mxp@mastodon.acm.org I don't know much about image editing, so I assume you are right. I wonder if a methodology designed for text editing has been applied to images without checking it is still applicable?
