@CAWguy@thecanadian.social in the cbc article the justification is that Ontario is twice the size of texas - which, while true, how many airports are jet capable north of Thuderbay, North Bay, etc - most of it is just plain inaccessible. Sure there's maybe more travel, but I'd like to see the cost justification over hiring charters to demonstrate that a $28.9M expenditure makes sense. At least they bought Canadian.
