@holgi@chaos.social In Lima gibt es zwei Deutsche Schulen. Man kann sich als Ortslehrkraft bewerben ( wenig Geld) oder über die Zentrale ( mehr Geld). https://www.auslandsschulwesen.de/DE/Home/home_node.html

@holgi@chaos.social Ich habe, als ich in den USA lebte, am College Deutsch unterrichtet, nicht angestellt sondern nach Semesterkursen bezahlt. Außerdem habe ich für Highschool Schüler Deutsch Nachhilfe gegeben und private Sprachkurse für Erwachsene. Und ich habe dann auch viele Jahre als Übersetzerin gearbeitet. Es war am Anfang mühsam, hat aber dann ganz gut funktioniert. Vielleicht gibt es diese Freiberufler-Möglichkeiten in Peru auch.

@holgi@chaos.social My ex-peruvian friend recommends contacting the German embassy to see if any German schools need teachers or if they maintain lists of translators that people might employ. @holgi@chaos.social there are german schools, I don't really recommend the "colegio Beata Imelda" but they basically always search for german speaking tachers. How good is his spanish? What are his qualifications and whats his disposition to move within Peru? My wife works at a peruvian Waldorf school that has connections to switzerland and I'm not sure if they filled their vacancies yet but until recently they were searching for German teachers. This would be near Oxapampa.
