I can't even finish reading this. Sorry, reality is just hard!
What i think happened:
Someone is tasked with finding targets for deportation and ways to streamline more deportations. They found her name in many records of people that were difficult to remove, so they targeted her directly
Israel has a pattern of bombing medical workers and hospitals; i see this as the same thing. They are targeting the helpers so no one will be able help the people they want to hurt

@RnDanger@infosec.exchange the story says that she was out of status until she got a withholding of removal proceedings from a judge decades ago. My uninformed guess is that the Trump admin position is that the order does not preclude removal to a third party country. So combine that with incentives to get their deportation statistics up plus confidence that most people won’t get competent judicial review, and you get the current clusterfuck.
