Today was truly the first first of April where no whimsy was felt by me. None of the things I saw surprised me either. The last year has made me interrogate everything I see online to such a point that really nothing has gotten by my smell test. I had a few years of being truly annoyed at this ill begotten day, seeking to minimise my exposure to seeing any of the "jokes" made in varying levels of taste, but today I didn't even care. I was glad tho, that at least some of the spaces I frequent very much toned it down this time, or even skipped it.
