It's stuff to think about, but even without HDR, 10-bit is still something that should be accessible but isn't, and that's the core problem is that a lot of new software is a black box; there's a deliberate motion to take away configuration options for the sake of... user friendliness? It's nice when it does work, but when it doesn't, there's really nothing you can do unless you want to dig into code, and I don't, because I'm not a programmer. I'm an artist.
