@markpitblado@mstdn.ca Neat. Does Booklore pickup metadata from the book or do you have to do a lot of manual editing?
I use something similar in calibre-web-automated. It doesn't sync my books automatically, but comes with an OPDS endpoint that I can use to download specific books. I have some larger comicbooks in my library that would eat up the storage on my reader quickly if I just synced everything. 😅
I've been thinking about switching away from anything Calibre based, because it's a bit heavy-weight. The Docker image still pulls down the entire Calibre app, including GUI elements and whatnot. It's huuuuuuge.
But then my library is currently nice and ordered, just the way Calibre wants it. I'm a bit afraid that I'd have to do too much juggling around to press it into anything else.

@irgndsondepp@gts.da-miez.de just looked into the metadata a bit more on one of my books. It got the main details like publisher, date published but not the ISBN. It assigns a score called "metadata match" which I think is an indication of how well the metadata for the book matches that in a database. To improve it, you can setup Google books api and it will try to fetch more details on import, and there is also a metadata tool within the interface.
