- Will institutions and researchers acquiesce to funder diktats?
Every funder dictates which institutions are eligible for funding. They always have and always will be. Nothing unusual about that.

System inertia may favour them. I hope they will. While most already see through their pretense and realize that these surveillance coporations are, in fact, our adversaries dropping the pretense may assist the willfully blind to see what's plain obvious for everybody else.
