I'm so glad you like it, I'll be out again by the end of the week and will hug a tree for you!
The amazing thing about this place is that it is in the desert. All is green and cool and quiet next to the stream, but a few hundred feet on either side is open rocky desert. I loved it.

@wanderinghermit@mindly.social This is really amazing that there is a desert around! I felt the sun a little intense, but I thought it was a clearing. Then it is an oasis and even more special! Thank you very much for hugging a tree for me! 🌳 I miss them so desperately that I have never ever even imagined, that this could be. 😥 And yes, I like it so much. We all know first, what we had, when it is "lost". But nature will never be lost for me, because it is in my heart and as I gladly see, also in yours. 💖🙏
