@kirtai@tech.lgbt @zardoz03@mastodon.online Which is a bit worse, because by then the argument for C and UNIX's limitations just didn't really hold anymore. C was a compromise with regard to system requirements and implementation complexity, as was UNIX (and even then, better systems could be implemented more easily with better languages, so the two kind of go together).
