I ordered a couple of t-shirts to wear around the house from a company with good manufacturing, etc. standards. This is rare for me because I don't really like t-shirts. It's difficult to find any that are flattering. However, since I'm not intending to wear them out, a certain slouchiness or sloppiness is okay, and anyway, they're for hot weather so they should be a little big. As expected, they look silly on. They have some odd pouchiness around the armpit area, which is great because they don't touch me there, but . . . that's also what makes them look strange. I was trying to figure out what type of body they were designed for (no judging -- it's just not mine), but then I had a horrifying thought: What if they weren't designed for any person's body but were designed by an LLM? Look, honestly, I don't think that's the case. Trying to find clothes for a particular body type has been a misery since the inception of mass-manufactured clothing. But a little bolt of realization that that's coming, if it isn't already here, went through me at the moment.
