My neighbor spearheaded an effort to make 150 bagged meals and distribute them to 6 food fridges across Baltimore. All 6 were empty when we got there and some had community members waiting and helping us unload
A reminder that a lot of Baltimore kids get their meals at school, so weekends and summer are extra important to fill in gaps!

This got more boosts again so I just want to reiterate: this is a thing you can just *do*! You can look up to see if there is a fridge or pantry network near you, check the rules (like donations probably need to be sealed, labeled, dated), and fill them. Is your local political action org mired in too many emails and drama? While you work on fixing that, you and your buds can just make and bag PB&J's for an hour on a Sunday.
