That's why corporations have an European headquarters and when they break EU laws the EU branch is fined. What to so Business the in EU? Comply with EU laws.

An American company, with stock traded on an American stock exchange, with American shareholders is bound by American laws when it comes to the relationship between the company and the shareholders
