@neatchee@urusai.social The point is that EU is not telling Apple to do something, such as installing some mandatory software on the phones they sell. They are telling them to stop doing something, that is, preventing people from installing and using alternate software sources. Not : “Hey Apple, now you will pre-install Cydia” Rather: “From now on, you will stop preventing people from installing and using Cydia (among others)”

    @elessar@social1.ortolo.eu bruh, did you even read what I wrote? That's not what we're talking about right now. I just replied to you in another fork with the same point: this is a thread about why Apple pushes back on reasonable EU requests but doesn't push back on unreasonable China requests. And on that subject, I stick by my answers above
