@startmail@mastodon.social However, we hit a small snag after upgrading the first one in a pair: the pfsync messages sent by 14.x are not readable by 13.x, which caused some traffic to be blocked inadvertently. Whoops.
Luckily it only led to some outgoing deliveries being postponed.

@startmail@mastodon.social It was resolved by a quick upgrade of the second server in that pair and then reaching for the release notes, where there was a subtle hint (look for `ifconfig pfsync0 version 1301`). Anyway, besides that, as always, the upgrade was smooth sailing! Thanks @FreeBSDFoundation@mastodon.social !
