This IS who we are. This IS who we are. This is not who we THOUGHT we were, through denial, delusion cultural programming. A bunch of us white folks grew up thinking everything got fixed in the Civil Rights era. A bunch of us white folks thought just deciding not to be racist was the same thing as ending racism. A bunch of us white folks never realized racism embedded in our institutions and processes that doesn't even need any active human racists in order to keep producing injustice.
