@uneasylistening@c.im @independentpen@mas.to Agreed. Some eyes open but others using safety pins to keep them closed. State violence is scary and most Americans who don't know or don't want to know our very long history of violence might be feeling a little trapped right now. Is it really possible the government may come after them too? They don't want to comfort that possible reality. Safer to go with all the fed agents are really good, law abiding people underneath it all.
