These folks have consistently contributed to devaluing the work, leading poor managers and profit driven leadership to omit proper documentation from the definition of "complete technical tool or product" such that now customers have to make do with chatbots who are up to 80% accurate and no access to internal "proprietary" or trademarked documentation or notes from the original engineers (if any exist).
