@maxine@hachyderm.io feel like deep down lots of people are operating on the level of belief that capitalism was doing great until around 2007 or so (the iphone!) and then suddenly Bad People made Bad Decisions that caused it all to start unraveling. "what no historical materialism does to a mf" etc
