At a certain point, the ability to affect change or implement what you want on a large scale requires being a leader of others. It turns out that leadership is a skill best learned through practice. A lot of leadership skills come from interpersonal skills which also come from practice relating with others. You don't learn these skills staring at a screen or a book, but interacting with people.
