@Quentin@theres.life after having the bands break on multiple headsets. I gave up on headsets all together. I bought a proper mic on a stand that attached to my desk and decent studio headphones with a metal band. I haven't looked back. In all my new setup was about the price of a premium gaming headset, but now I can replace only the part that breaks.

@Quentin@theres.life I have had good luck with AKG headphones. My current is the k240. Primarily because the band is metal. The mic is a cheap condenser mic that was in a kit with the scissor stand and phantom power supply.

@wulfhart@theres.life Thank you! I have also gone the same way. At a colleague's suggestion, the mike I went with was the Fduce SL40. In fairness, I had the headset for a couple of years, and full credit to it, the mike on it was really good, and the sound.
