Yeah... child protection organizations want the governments to regulate big tech instead of invading our privacy.
A group of cybersecurity and privacy experts warned that ID verification is dangerous due to data breach and the fact it invades our privacy, and there have been data breaches!
Yet, the legislators don't understand despite all of this and it's really frustrating.

@NovemDecimal@sunny.garden i especially look at the french gov because their audacity to tell us that we should give up anonymity while they themselves are now on one data breach per day on average
