I checked to see if NVDA 2026.1 fixes the long standing issue where it freaks out if there's too much output in the command line so you don't have to. The answer is no. To test this, I wrote a simple script that floods the terminal by printing the letter V 10000 times on a continuous loop. All I could do was sit and watch as the screen reader choked, spluttered and stuttered for a few minutes. Eventually I had to put the poor thing out of its misery. Honestly, the fact that I was able to paralyze my screen reader with just two lines of Python is just mind blowing. Edited to remove cybersecurity remarks as they were il-judged.
