@alxd@writing.exchange My second question then stands, why exactly does the language and knowledge need to come from your exact region? Why not look to the Inuit or Ainu or a little further south to the Kurds? There is a lot of resistance to colonialism, everywhere.
Casting aside "sustainability" do you have an equivalent term for "relationality" or "interrelational"?

@foundseed@spore.social so if I am to take concepts from other cultures without adjusting it to fit my own culture, how exactly is this different from colonialism? Why instead of developing my own cultural tools to fit concepts should I import them wholesale from cultures which have totally different values? I'm not saying we cannot learn from each other, but my initial stance stands: I need a new language to develop the culture I have, not to accept Kurd or Inuit one.
