@aceattveg@gamepad.club the career is like a raising game roguelike of sorts where you train for stats and earn skills and after the career finished you get a racer with the stats and skills as a "veteran racer" to use in team trials and challenges. so you use them for the player competitions and earning passive rewards from challenges. and yeah, they also can pass down their skills as "parents" or "inspiration" of another racer. to a lot of people grinding good inspiration is the endgame, as it's quite random what the racer will pass down. it can be all their skills but it can also be none
