@McCrankyface@beige.party On a more serious note, I have been looking at diversifying from debian based OSs. The recent situation regarding the attack on Ubuntu infrastructure makes me more likely to do this.
I am currently considering OpenSUSE. Primarily as it is a European based project. I have also looked to see if one of the BSDs might be a good alternative.
I have got as far as downloading a couple of OpenSUSE ISO to try out.

@the_wub@mastodon.social I actually got myself suse certified several years back but haven't used it in quite a while. I have also used FreeBSD. That might be a good idea to go back to. Thanks
