Starting a War to loose much more than they gain to Ego, bravado. I've been under people like Hegseth. He is, as I have said, the kind of leader who gets his troops killed. Being in combat is not healthy, being in combat led by an egotistic fool is devastating. Leaders have to think not just try to get even in a rage. Then People die.
