Regardless of what they did there, which is probably screws for easier delivery of all those seats, the apron to leg joins would be standard M&Ts. The back rails look like they are set in the stiles with half laps, which would be easier and probably ok, but not as strong as M&Ts. Top rails to top of back stiles would also be M&Ts. I don’t know what’s under the seat cushion, but from the way the cushion sits, I’d guess there’s a panel resting on rebates in the aprons.
