@glassbottommeg@mastodon.gamedev.place Based in Japan apparently but the devs are Russian. As somene who lived in Japan for years and knows Japanese the demo really rubbed me the wrong way

@glassbottommeg@mastodon.gamedev.place I'm not doing some weird "you need to be a certain ethnicity to be Japanese" thing here (I could have taken Japanese nationality in the past but declined to) there's something about the way the game has been presented and publicised that makes me think of the CB Cebulski / Akira Yoshida thing
