@nyhan@fediscience.org I really see this as a weakness of EBM. At least as it is practiced by public health.
EBM was used to justify ignoring the lab experiments (and unique case studies that form natural experiments) that all but proved airborne transmission in March of 2020, in favour of inconclusive meta analysis of regression models.
Doctors pointing to a hierarchy of evidence that works great for biology, but completely fails at comprehending physics and chemistry.
