@opentechfan@exquisite.social @OpenBSDAms@mastodon.bsd.cafe @h3artbl33d@exquisite.social it’s often worth considering if you can turn the problem into a set of files, e.g. if the config file format supports includes or there’s a .d style config. That way you don’t need templating, or at least the templating is limited to a few files. Even with ansible that may result in easier to reason about deployments.
