@sadspiders@mstdn.social I'm using 45Nth Gravdal on this bike. And I've been really happy with them. The only times I've got an issue with grip is when I've encountered black ice, or black ice with water on top. Snow is also a bit problematic but that's the case with any bike that isn't a fat bike.
All the snow is gone on the regular roads, it's just higher up that the ice and snow is still partly surviving. I'm looking forward to swap the tyres and ride on gravel again.

@oyviaase@mastodon.babb.no Interesting, not sure why I didn't look more closely at the Gravdal, looks like it would be a really nice option. I like the Xerxes but it only comes in 33mm so it does seem a bit narrow, but does cut nicely through snow onto the tarmac below. Also looking forward to getting back onto actual gravel, we're getting close!
