@CarstenBoll@mstdn.dk yeah but I dont like the licening model that MeshCore has + security and privacy is still a problem. It is just meshtastic with a bit better routing(basically a strict relay model where infrastructure is needed in order to use it). Their whole closed-source client freemium model is not my style.

    @kimschulz@social.data.coop I agree with that, and I prefer Reticulum too, but I still find MeshCore useful - my meshtastic network just kind of sat there, but with MeshCore I can actually deliver and receive messages over large distances. As a user, MeshCore is useful - Meshtastic isn't really useful. That said, if I knew how to make Reticulum work on the same firmware (Seeedstudio P1 Solar Node), I'd give it a spin. I also try to make my NomadNet pages small to support low bandwith LoRa networks.
