@michaelmeckler@mastodonapp.uk Prof Simon Keay was indeed influential! He was a lead instructor for an online class (MOOC through Futurelearn) I took several years ago. The topic was the archaeology of Portus, the port of ancient Rome. I enjoyed the class so much, I visited Portus during a trip to Italy and really enjoyed seeing the site in person.
