@mariafarrell@mastodon.social it's a while since I thought about this sort of thing so I am probably out of date. But the availability of pqc made me think that exploits at the transport layer will be fixable quickly, once it is widely known to be a problem. Knowing is, of course, a challenge, but it seems to me that gaining access to realtime data is only important if you are going to use it pretty soon, at which point you risk detection. I'm still concerned about encrypted data at rest though!
