@jimkreft@social.coop plenty of guesses here too. Maybe I’m just extra conscious of this site because I use it several times a day, but it seems unique among major .govs in that, apart from being bad, it seems frozen in time circa 2002.

    @matthewburton@mstdn.social nah, ancient websites are pretty common in this space (weather and water) where I used to be (at USGS). Because health and safety are involved, people are EXTREMELY risk averse, and as such it’s always safer (in the short term) to just keep the old thing, even if the old thing doesn’t actually work for most people.
