fyi, anyone using Chrome. https://pivot-to-ai.com/2026/05/07/google-chrome-force-installs-a-4-gigabyte-ai-model-how-to-get-rid-of-it/ In addition to the steps @davidgerard mentions in the article, you should also type chrome://flags in the address bar, search for 'Gemini', and set literally everything in there to 'Disabled'. And then ofc remember to do that again anytime Chrome updates.
