Continuing the Late 90s and Early 2000s graphics card discussion. For those who may not know, "hardware T&L" is hardware transform & lighting. The term refers to the mathematical process of creating a 3D space and rendering it from the perpective of the viewer. "Hardware T&L" means that these processes are now done on the graphics card instead of the CPU...and is the technical definition of what makes a GPU (graphics processing unit). Some highlights...
