I have this Vox 4Watt tube amp that I bought for about $299 Canadian around 10 years ago. I see on the Vox site that it’s not in production anymore but I see them for sale used quite a bit. Nice clean tone, really portable, only 2 knobs, tone and volume plus a knob that switches it to 1 or even 1/4 watt if you want it to break up and distort without being super loud. Shame they aren’t making them anymore. https://voxamps.com/product/ac4tv/

@bgm@musicians.today @alisynthesis@io.waxandleather.com It might be worth looking into what speaker is in that amp, if it sounds good at acoustic levels. I've built several <5w amps and they are great but there's still a minimum level that sounds good with all speakers I've tried and it's louder than an acoustic guitar. I mostly use a celestion G10 greenback with my 5w amp. I never found an 8" I liked for guitar. I know weber makes quite a few 8" models though, which I haven't tried as they are expensive or unobtainable in the UK.
