Hubby and I spent the afternoon pruning Golden Canker from our pagoda dogwood trees (Cornus alternafolia). We have several mature (tall) pagodas and love them dearly, hence the effort. Golden Canker is a disease that strikes pagodas and if not pruned off the branches, can spread to the main trunk and kill the tree.
