I'm an aquatic ecologist based in the eastern Amazon at *Universidade Federal do Pará*. Bicycle, climate, water, biodiversity, paperbacks, free software, open science, open society, social and environmental justice, press freedom. I joined Mastodon to get rapid access to insights from scientists on #climate, #water, #biodiversity, #conservation, #openscience, #openaccess, the publishing process, and other topics, for discussion in my classes.
