Good and bad news from the allotment yesterday. I'll get the bad out of the way. The sunflower seedling was gone, completely eaten off by slugs (I really don't like to use pellets) 😔 The good news. The tatties are looking good 🙂 #allotmentgardening #allotment #gardening | #kent #england

@timhopper@mastodon.world I suppose the slugs have to eat, too 🥺 I learned something from you today! In all my years being around Irish and English folks, I have never heard spuds referred to as 'tatties'. That's a new one to me! 🥔
