Today in grammar, instead of "that's what's happening to me", I accidentally said "that's what I'm happening", and you know what, that basically works doesn't it.

@cassolotl@eldritch.cafe that's not a construction that would have occurred to me; I'm curious what makes it "basically work" for you like I'd read it the other way around, as a "that's what I'm happening *to*," which feels very Hitchhiker's Guide but takes less movement of the verb arguments but I could imagine it being a regional pattern?
