@jfr_1980@mastodon.social @Mastodon@mastodon.social @matrix@mastodon.matrix.org I am currently implementing a mix of oath2/openID Connect SSO + activitypub + matrix, for a project. I will host the services in with 3 tld: .id, .social and .chat with the same sld and users sharing the same username across services. I will also link the matrix handle on the activitypub client so that it opens the matrix client when someone wants to DM. Activitypub could deprecate private messages and standardize how matrix handles are shared.
