@aras@mastodon.gamedev.place I just realized what this reminds me of: My old crappy Casio digital camera, which had a non-optional "denoiser" (probably also "AI" based) that smoothed away a lot of details and re-added stuff that wasn't there. Even with all filters off, everyone looked like they were wearing makeup. I hated that thing (but couldn't afford to buy another camera back then).
