Oh my. Today's rabbit hole (as a result of yesterday's visit to the antique lace pillow) was pins. Anna's pillow had the old wire-head pins in 1820. So I began to wonder about when pin technology transitioned. It was about 20 years later. But it led me to this fascinating animation of a pin manufactory!
